[Climate Change Policies] Nr. 5: Dr. Takashi OTSUKA (IGES)

As the 5th round of the omnibus lecture series “Climate Change Policies”, Dr. Takashi OTSUKA (Coordinator/Senior Policy Researcher Programme Management Office, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies) gave a lecture titled “Possible policy measures to achieve GHGs reduction targets” on November 9, 2009.

As the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round of the omnibus lecture series “Climate Change Policies”, Dr. Hideyuki MORI (Vice President, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies) gave a lecture titled “Global Environmental Issues -History and Perspectives-” on October 19, 26 and November 9, 2009.

This program is established to foster future environmental leaders in the world particularly in Asian and African countries. Under the organization of the President of Nagoya University, the Nagoya University Global Environmental Leaders Program (master's program) is established for students coming from Asian and African countries. Students will be accepted to the Department of Environmental Engineering and Architecture in the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, and the Department of Civil Engineering in the Graduate School of Engineering, where this unique education program will be offered.
